Randomness part 2

Last weekend I participated in a Christmas Sale where several local artisans were selling their work.  I managed to leave my booth for a few minutes to do a bit of shopping of my own.

I bought a couple of these cute little wool ornaments made by a rug-hooking group.

I traded a clay acorn that I made for this cute little felted one.

I had to buy a couple of these little owls from a very talented weaver...she makes owls from  her weaving scraps that are too small for any other use.

The scarves she made were beautiful too...so I bought this one for one of my sisters

and this one for my other sister.

Scott and I managed to sneak away for a date night.  He is still sporting his "Movember".  In an attempt to be festive I wore my new "bedazzled" shirt...I'm afraid I looked like Stevie Nicks in her    "lost" years.

I couldn't resist this mercury glass owl that was at Winners (the Canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx).  The men in my house don't "get" it.  "What's the owl for" they asked "decoration" I replied.  "What does it do?" they asked.  I didn't even bother to reply to that one.
