Today I'm joining Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along, where you post a photo of what you are reading and knitting.
These little felted heart rings are just perfect for Valentine's Day. I got the pattern here from tiny owl knits. I'm almost through "Virgin Cure" by Ami McKay and it is not quite as good as her last book "The Birth House" but still very enjoyable.
I should note that the first time I wore my felted heart ring...my son said, "did you cut your finger?" because I guess he thought it was a bandage...not really the reaction I was looking for. Maybe the ring would be best in another colour choice?
Those are adorable! I just bookmarked the link and am hoping to knit a few of these myself!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I can see what he means. But I totally didn't see it till I read his comment - they looked like cute heart rings to me before that. Maybe it just means that they're the perfect Valentine's gift for boys or girls - each can take what they will from it!
ReplyDeleteStill plugging away at that book, eh? I feel like everything I read lately has been that way. I need one that I can't put down!
ReplyDeleteJust in time for Valentine's day! Very sweet :)
ReplyDeleteYour son's comment cracked me up! I think they're very cute. Actually, I had just added them yesterday to my page of favorite free knitting patterns, so it's funny to me that after having never seen them before, I've now seen them twice in two days!
